Candle Boxes Designed to Deliver Results
Our candle packaging boxes are designed to protect candles during shipping while supporting your brand presentation.
- Custom sizing and inserts cut breakage, where most candle returns come from
- Right-weight board lowers DIM weight, and freight is billed on that
- Accurate dielines keep artwork setup from stalling your launch date
- Print method scales with you, so unit cost drops as runs grow
Custom Candle Boxes for Shipping
Built to your exact jar size and printed full-coverage CMYK, with Pantone on request, inside and out. Seasonal artwork for Christmas or Valentine’s Day runs as variants off one dieline. Short-run custom candle boxes with logos and candle boxes wholesale use the same setup, so you can start small and scale.
Why Does This Packaging Win?
We build around the candle’s weight and shape first, artwork second. For retail, SBS paperboard in C1S or C2S gives sharp color and clean folds. In eCommerce, corrugated candle shipping boxes in E-flute or B-flute absorb shock and resist crush. For gifting, rigid boxes carry weight and presentation together.
The insert does the protective work. Molded pulp, EVA foam, corrugated fitments and paperboard cradles stop the jar rattling and the lid working loose. Auto-lock bottoms speed pack-out and reinforce the base under heavy glass.
Carriers bill cubic inches divided by a divisor, commonly 139 on UPS and FedEx domestic, so an inch of box height costs real money across 5,000 units.
Print & Finishes
Short runs go digital CMYK, so variant artwork needs no new plate. At volume: soft-touch, lamination, foil stamping, emboss, deboss and spot UV. White ink prints clean onto kraft, and interior print changes the moment the box opens.
Candle Box Styles
Tuck-end cartons (SBS). Clean retail look for small jars and sleeves. Auto-lock bottom. Faster pack-out, stronger base under heavy glass. Two-piece telescoping. Lift-off reveal for gifting and bundles. Rigid set-up boxes. Pair with foam or molded-pulp inserts. Corrugated mailers. Subscription-ready and courier-tough. Sleeves and belly bands. Light brand presence over tins. Windowed cartons. Display without unboxing.
Glass jars need corrugated with a fitted insert. Pillars and tapers need a cradle, since unsupported pillars roll and chip. Gift sets go rigid with a tray.
Materials, Finishes & Add-Ons
Paperboard: SBS 16pt to 24pt (260 to 400 GSM), C1S or C2S, plus kraft for durable kraft candle boxes. Corrugate: F-flute 0.8mm, E-flute 1.5mm, B-flute 3mm. Single wall at 32 ECT suits most parcel routes. Rigid board: 1.5mm to 2.5mm greyboard, litho-wrapped. 2mm is standard for gift boxes. Coatings and finishes: Matte, gloss, soft-touch, anti-scuff varnish, hot foil, emboss, deboss, spot UV. Inserts and windows: Molded pulp, EVA foam, corrugated fitments, paperboard cradles. PET, RPET or paper windows. Sustainability: FSC board, recycled kraft, PCR content, soy inks. Plain paperboard and corrugate are recyclable in most US programs. Laminated, foiled and film-windowed packs usually are not, and we tell you which applies to your build.

FAQs
Best box for shipping glass jar candles?
Corrugate with a snug insert. An 8 oz filled jar runs close to 1 lb and multi-packs climb fast, so we set flute grade against your filled weight.
What board for candle sleeves?
16 to 20 pt for most. Step up to 22 to 24 pt for heavier jars or peg display.
Are windowed boxes recyclable?
The board is. Film windows need removing unless you choose paper-based. Acceptance varies locally.
Do you provide samples?
Random, plain structural, or pre-production with your print. Ask for the plain sample first: fit problems cost more than color problems.
