Why choose our small candle boxes?
Durable protection
Small candles are light, so wall thickness is rarely the issue. Fit is. A 2 oz tin rattling in a box a few millimetres too wide scuffs its own lid before it arrives.
Specs at a glance:
- Fits: tea lights at 38mm, votives near 2 inches, 2 oz to 6 oz tins and jars
- Board: SBS 14pt to 18pt for singles, E flute at 1.5mm for multi-packs
- Styles: tuck end, sleeve, pillow box, window box, multi-pack tray
- Inserts: folded paperboard or die-cut fitment at 1 to 2mm clearance
- Minimum order: 100 units, wholesale pricing in bulk
- Lead time: about 7 to 10 business days after proof approval
For ecommerce, a small carton still needs an outer, so pair it with a candle shipping box rather than posting it bare.
Customizable to your brand
Printed logos, full colour artwork, matte or gloss, soft touch, foil and spot UV. The constraint on small formats is legibility, not options. Type under about 6pt and fine reversed-out detail close up, so we proof for that first.
Digital printing earns its place here. Most small candle lines run six or eight scents, and digital puts every variant on one dieline with no new plate, which makes a range affordable to pack.
Eco-friendly options
Recycled kraft, FSC board, PCR content and soy inks are available. Plain uncoated cartons are recyclable in most US programs. Lamination, foil and film windows usually are not, and paper window film is the alternative where that matters.
Perfect for gifting or retail
Small candles sell in multiples, so the pack has to work as a set: multi-packs of three, four or six in a printed tray, samplers with a scent per well, hanging cartons with a euro slot for peg display.
Versatile design options
Tea lights, votives, tins and sample jars each need their own cavity. Send a candle or its dimensions and we cut to it, so nothing shifts or swims.

Benefits of custom small candle box packaging
- Brand visibility. On a small pack the logo and scent name compete for very little space, so hierarchy matters more than decoration. Get those two readable at arm’s length and the box works.
- Enhanced customer experience. Small candles are impulse and gift buys, and the box is most of what justifies the price beside an unboxed competitor.
- Protection and durability. A fitted insert stops movement, which prevents scuffed tins and chipped wax. Small candles rarely break, but they mark easily.
- Eco-conscious consumers. Recycled and FSC options are available, and we tell you which claims your build supports.
Packaging made simple and convenient
Send your candle size, quantity and artwork. You get a free dieline and a proof, with colour managed so your fifth reorder matches the first. Low-MOQ ordering starts at 100 units, so an artisan run and a rollout share one setup. Shipping across the USA is free.

FAQs
What is the minimum order quantity? Low MOQ ordering starts at 100 units, which suits a single scent or a market stall run.
How long does production take? About 7 to 10 business days after proof approval, 10 to 14 for rigid builds, rush from 4 to 5 days on print ready artwork.
Can I order a sample before placing a full order? Yes. On small formats a plain structural sample is worth it, since a millimetre of clearance is the difference between a snug tin and a rattling one.
What size box does a tea light need? A standard tea light is 38mm across and 16mm tall, so a 4-well pack sits near 4 by 4 by 1 inches. We cut to your candle.
Can one dieline cover several scents? Yes. Digital printing runs scent variants off one file with no new plate, which is how a six-scent range stays affordable.
