Hang tab packaging that holds up on a peg wall
The hang feature is where these packs fail, so it is worth getting right first.
Euro slots are the standard across most European and many US fixtures, a round hole of about 6mm with a slot below it, roughly 17mm wide. Round holes are simpler and suit lighter items. Delta or sombrero holes spread the load over a wider bearing surface, which is what heavier products need. J-hook tabs extend above the pack and work where the box itself should sit lower on the fixture.
Tear-out is a common failure. A plain die-cut hole in an 18pt board will hold a light product, but past roughly 250 to 500 grams the hole starts to elongate and eventually splits. Above that we reinforce, either with a self-adhesive clear hang tab applied over the hole or with a laminated patch built into the board. Tell us the filled weight of your pack and we specify accordingly rather than guessing.
Hole position matters too. Most major retailers publish a planogram spec for the distance from the top edge to the hole centre, and a pack that ignores it hangs crooked or fouls the next hook along. Send us the retailer and we cut to their fixture.

Visibility. A peg wall puts your product at eye level facing forward, so the full front panel does the selling rather than a spine on a shelf.
Assembly. Straight tuck end and reverse tuck end structures fold and close by hand with no tape. Auto bottom versions snap into shape in one movement, which cuts pack-out time once you are doing hundreds a day.
Protection. Board runs SBS at 18pt to 24pt for retail packs, kraft for a natural finish, and E flute corrugated at 1.5mm where the contents need real impact resistance. Inserts and fitments hold the product still inside the box.
Customisation. Full CMYK printing with Pantone matching, white ink on kraft, plus foil stamping, embossing, debossing, spot UV and matte or soft touch lamination. Window panels in PET or RPET show the product without opening the pack.
Cost. Paperboard hanger boxes are light, so they add little to shipping weight, and peg display costs a retailer less floor space than shelf facings. That combination is why the format holds its share in impulse categories.
Sustainability
FSC certified board, recycled kraft, PCR content and soy based inks are available across every hanger box format. Plain paperboard and corrugated packs are recyclable in most US programs.
Two caveats worth stating rather than glossing. Film windows and adhesive reinforcement tabs need separating before a box goes in the paper stream, and heavy lamination or foil usually takes it out altogether. Paper based window film is available where you want the whole pack to stay recyclable. We will confirm which claim your actual specification supports.
