Description
Custom wedding card boxes that reflect quality
Sizing starts from the envelope. The A7 at 5.25 by 7.25 inches is the standard wedding invitation size, with A6 at 4.75 by 6.5 and A9 at 5.75 by 8.75 also common. A full suite with an invitation, RSVP card and envelope, a details card and a belly band usually needs an interior around 5.5 by 7.5 by 1 inch. Square invitations need their own dieline. Send a made-up suite and we cut the box to it.
Structures include two-piece rigid boxes, magnetic closure boxes, drawer and slide boxes, sleeve and tray sets, and folding cartons for volume. Rigid builds use 1.5mm to 2mm greyboard wrapped in printed or textured paper, silk, linen or velvet, with ribbon pulls, lined trays and card slots holding each piece in place.
One thing worth planning early: a rigid boxed invitation posts as a parcel rather than a letter, and square envelopes carry a non-machinable surcharge with USPS. Confirm postage with your client before the design is signed off, because it changes the per-guest cost more than the box does.
Why choose Multiple Packages for wedding card box packaging?
Match any prices. Find a lower price on the same specification and we will match it. Send the competing quote with specs attached so we compare board, finish and quantity like for like.
Packaging quality you can rely on. Colour is managed across the run, so box two thousand matches box one. Foil registration is checked at proof, and samples go out before production so you can show a client the real thing.
Fastest delivery turnaround. Folding cartons run about 7 to 10 business days after proof approval, with rush from 4 to 5 days on print ready artwork. Rigid and wrapped boxes take about 10 to 14 days. We schedule backwards from the mail date, not the wedding date.
B2B integration
You are ordering reliability, not just packaging. Low-MOQ ordering starts wedding card boxes from 100 units, with bulk discounts as volumes grow. Digital printing runs couple-specific variants off one dieline with no new plate per job, which is what makes bespoke boxes workable for a print house handling dozens of weddings a season.
Every box can be customised in size, shape, colour and finish. Foil stamping in gold, rose gold, silver or holographic, plus embossing, debossing, spot UV, soft-touch and lamination, gives a luxury finish without complicating production. Modern minimalist or ornate traditional, the same structure carries both.
FSC certified board, recycled and PCR content and soy based inks are available. Plain paper-wrapped boxes are recyclable in most US programs, while foil, lamination and fabric wraps usually are not, and we will confirm what your specification supports.
A premium look without the premium hassle
Send your suite dimensions and artwork, or a logo and a brief, and you get a free dieline and a digital proof. Approve it, and production runs to specification with quality checks before despatch. Samples are available at any point so a client can hold the box before committing.

FAQs
What is the minimum order for custom wedding card boxes? Low MOQ ordering starts from 100 units, so a single wedding commission works as well as a wholesale run, with bulk pricing as volumes rise.
What size box fits a wedding invitation suite? An A7 invitation is 5.25 by 7.25 inches, so a full suite usually needs an interior around 5.5 by 7.5 by 1 inch. We size to your made-up suite.
Can a boxed invitation be posted? Yes, but it posts as a parcel rather than a letter, and square envelopes carry a USPS non-machinable surcharge. Check postage before sign-off.
How fast can you turn an order around? About 7 to 10 business days after proof approval for cartons and 10 to 14 for rigid boxes, with rush available from 4 to 5 days on print ready artwork.
Is this the same as a card box for the reception? No. This page covers packaging for invitation suites. A reception card box for guest envelopes is a different product, and we can quote that separately.
