Description
Why a pyramid?
The angled panels draw the eye up and brace each other at the apex, holding shape without extra board.
One honest trade-off. A taper wastes interior volume, since the candle needs the base width while the top sits empty. More board and more void per candle than a square carton, so freight per unit runs higher. For a gift or limited edition the shelf presence earns it. For a high-volume everyday line, it may not.
Built for your brand
Choose premium SBS, rigid board or eco-friendly kraft, and we size the base to your candle, not a stock dieline. Add a die-cut window to show wax colour and texture, or keep it closed for a plainer look. Keep windows off the folds: an aperture crossing a score weakens the panel and distorts the view.
Print and finish options
- Full-colour CMYK or spot Pantone for brand-true hues
- Soft-touch, matte or high-gloss lamination
- Foil stamping in gold, silver, rose gold or custom
- Embossing and debossing for tactile depth
- Spot UV to pick out artwork or editions
On dark solids specify anti-scuff. A pyramid gets handled more than a flat box, and plain matte shows it.
Smart structure, easy assembly
Boxes ship flat and set up in seconds, with tabs locking at the apex and optional ribbon or magnetic closures. Internal collars steady a jar and keep it off the walls.
The apex is where quality shows. Four panels meeting at one point make small score errors visible as a gap or twist, so precise die-cutting matters more here than on a tuck box.
Protection you can trust
Glass breaks and wax scuffs, so the insert holds the jar central rather than letting it slide to a corner. Coatings shield against light, dust and small knocks, and moisture-resistant lamination is available for humid routes.
Two honest notes. Scent retention is the jar lid’s job, not the carton’s, though a candle dust cover helps at the wax surface. And a pyramid is a retail presentation, not a shipper, so put it in a candle shipping box for ecommerce.
Sustainable by design
Soy-based inks, recycled and FSC-certified boards, dielines laid out to cut offcut waste. Plain uncoated pyramids are recyclable in most US programs. Foil, lamination and film windows usually are not, and we will say which applies to your build.
Perfect for gifting and retail
Weddings, seasonal drops and limited editions, with names, dates or scent notes printed per batch. Pyramids photograph well, since the angles catch light in a way a flat face does not.
Worth knowing for shelf planning: true pyramids do not stack like cubes. A truncated pyramid with a flat top does, and it is what most retailers prefer for endcaps.

FAQs
What is the minimum order quantity? Low MOQ ordering starts at 100 units, which suits a limited edition or a single seasonal drop.
How long does production take? About 7 to 10 business days after proof approval, 10 to 14 for rigid builds, rush from 4 to 5 days.
Can I order a sample before placing a full order? Yes, and for pyramids it is worth doing. A plain structural sample shows how the apex closes and whether your jar sits square before print is committed.
Do pyramid boxes stack on a shelf? Not the true pointed form. Ask for a truncated pyramid with a flat top if the range needs to stack.
Can I ship a pyramid candle box on its own? Better not to. It is retail packaging, so use an outer shipper with a snug cavity.
