What makes our custom K Cup boxes stand out
One correction worth making, because most pod packaging copy gets it wrong. The outer box is not what keeps coffee fresh. Each pod is individually sealed under a foil lid and nitrogen flushed, and that seal is the barrier. What the box has to do is stop that seal being broken.
Foil lids dent and puncture easily, and a pod with a compromised lid goes stale long before its date. So the real job of the carton is crush resistance and keeping pods from shifting against each other in transit. Die-cut corrugated partitions, grid dividers and fitted trays hold each pod in its own cell, which is worth far more than any claim about the box preserving aroma.
Everything above that is brand work: full CMYK printing, window cutouts, foil stamping and embossing, all specified to your artwork.
Features of our K Cup boxes
SBS paperboard at 18pt to 24pt handles retail cartons and gives the print surface a coffee brand needs. E flute corrugated at 1.5mm and B flute at 3mm go into club packs, bulk cases and anything shipping direct. Litho-laminated corrugated gives retail-grade print on a shipping-strength box, which is the usual specification for 48 and 72 count packs. Rigid greyboard suits gift and sampler sets.
Protection comes from the partition rather than the wall. We size cells to about 1mm clearance so pods sit snug without the lid touching board.
Printing is full CMYK with Pantone matching and white ink on kraft. Finishes include matte and gloss lamination, soft touch, foil stamping, embossing, debossing and spot UV. Panels are laid out for roast level, origin, count, net weight, brewer compatibility statement, barcode and batch code.
Counts run 10, 12, 16, 18, 24, 32, 40, 48, 72 and 96, or any arrangement you specify, including mixed variety samplers with a divider between flavours.
For retail we make shelf-ready packaging with a perforated tear-away front, so a case opens and goes straight onto the fixture. Most grocery chains now expect it in the coffee aisle.
Why choose Multiple Packages for K Cup box packaging
We work from your pod count and your retailer, not from a catalogue. Send the count, the arrangement you want and where it will be sold, and we return a free custom dieline with a 3D preview. You approve a digital proof before anything prints.
Low-MOQ ordering starts K Cup boxes from 100 units, which lets a small roaster launch a pod line without committing to a pallet of cartons, and the same dieline scales to national grocery volumes with no redesign. Production runs about 7 to 10 business days after proof approval, with a rush option from 4 to 5 business days on print ready artwork. Shipping across the USA is free.
FSC certified board, recycled kraft, PCR content and soy based inks are available across every format. Plain paperboard and corrugated cartons are recyclable in most US programs. Laminated and foiled finishes usually are not, and we will confirm which claim your specification supports rather than printing a general one.
Why our premium K Cup boxes matter for your brand
The coffee aisle is dense and every pod box is roughly the same shape, so recognition has to come from colour blocking and a legible roast name rather than from structure. Count is the second thing a shopper looks for, and burying it costs you sales to the box next to yours.
Presentation also sets price expectations. A litho-laminated 24 count with soft touch and a foil logo reads as a different product from a plain printed carton, with the same pods inside.
